I grew up in Seattle, attending the University of Washington and Seattle University School of Law, where I graduated in the top 5% of my class. I started out working for a law firm that was paid by insurance companies to defend personal injury matters, called “insurance defense.” Almost every plaintiff was treated as a crazy, lying, faker by the other attorneys and staff. I always thought that, in most cases, the plaintiff was just a normal person who was injured by someone else’s carelessness and should not be put through the wringer to be made whole. I left insurance defense behind and now focus on helping injured people get the recovery they deserve.
